| Description: | Don't dance...but would like to be an important part of Texas Ballet Theater? Ballet volunteers are dedicated individuals who significantly contribute to the Company's success. Among many tasks that TBT Volunteer Corps perform are assisting at performances, special event planning and coordination, Ballet Boutique sales, administrative support, to name a few. Volunteer opportunities exist throughout the calendar year, seven days a week, during mornings, afternoons and evenings to help meet the Company's needs. | Description: | Serve on a committee under a Show Chair to help organize a sculpture show. Committees are created for specific shows throughout the year; committee members choose duties that fit their available time. Show committees usually run 4 to 6 months and time commitments are sporadic and flexible. |

| Description: | Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Identify and describe parts of the collection. Knowledge of a specific type of object is necessary. Enter data on objects in our collection into a database. Reference books or other materials would be a great advantage. Work with staff or on your own to record information on specific pieces in our collection. Need to be able to be good at typing, critical reading, proofreading, spelling, and enjoy data entry. Training is provided. Hours are flexible Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. |

| Description: | Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be patient. Knowledge of paleontology is helpful but not required. Must be able to work in dusty environment with the ability to work with certain chemicals. Ability to follow the direction of the paleontologist. Training is provided by the paleontologist. Hours are flexible when space is available in the lab Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. |

| Description: | Serve at least one 4 hour shift per month. Conduct yourself in an open, friendly, professional manner at all times. Attend all trainings as required by your assignment area. Maintain accurate, up to date time sheets for your volunteer service. Wear your name badge when you are volunteering at the Museum. Maintain your schedule to the best of your ability. Call ahead if you cannot make a shift. Arrive on time and in appropriate dress. Follow the policies and procedures of the Museum of Nature and Science. A basic knowledge of the physical sciences would be helpful, but it is not required. Application must be on file in the volunteer office with a clear background check. Application fee of $10.00 for background check is required. |

| Description: | Summer and spring break daytime hours. Assist the teacher in preparation and setting up the camp area. Must enjoy working with children. Must be able to interact with campers. Assist campers with projects on a daily basis. Assist the teacher with cleanup at regular intervals and at the end of the day. Assist with other tasks as assigned. |
