This privacy policy covers Leadership Arts Alumni Association's treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect from alumni and volunteers when you are on our site, and when you use our services. This policy also applies to our treatment of any personally identifiable information that our arts organizations share with us through this site. This privacy policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our site and our products and services.
This policy does not apply to the practices of entities that we do not control, or to people that we do not employ or manage. We may provide you with links to other web sites. This policy does not apply to any information that you may provide to third parties, such as through other sites linked to our site. We are not responsible for those sites and cannot control the content of what is offered on those sites or on links from those sites or the privacy policy or data security, if any, of those sites.
Information Collection and Use
We may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, contact information, username, password and volunteer preferences and opportunities, when you visit or use our web site. This information is generally collected when you register as a member, a volunteer or an arts organization seeking volunteers. In addition, we also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our Web site and “cookie” information, to collect information about how our Web site is used. We may set and access cookies on your computer. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information is associated with you as an individual.
Generally, we may use this information for the purposes of customizing the content you see on our web site, fulfilling your requests for certain volunteer opportunities, other information or services and to contact you about such volunteer opportunities. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our web site, new services or other special information we think you will find valuable.

We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. We will send personally identifiable information about you to other arts organizations, entities or people when:
- we have your consent to share the information;
- we need to share your information to provide the service you have requested;
- we need to share your information to protect the security and integrity of our records and web site;
- we need to send the information to companies who work with or on behalf of LAAA (or NTBCA) to provide a service to you (unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us);

- we find that your actions on our web site violate the above terms of service, or any of our usage guidelines for specific services.
In addition, we may use and disclose your personally identifiable information on an aggregate basis, which means that we combine parts of your information with parts of the information from our other users without including your name, complete telephone number, complete e-mail address or your street address in such combination.
